Mythralis is a new space within the Chatlands community, shaped by fantasy, creativity, and a deep desire for change. We were created in response to the hurt and exclusion many have experienced across Chatlands over the years.
Our goal is simple: to build a welcoming and inclusive environment where people from all walks of life feel seen, heard, and respected. By leading with empathy, creativity, and integrity, we hope Mythralis can offer a fresh start and become a meaningful step toward healing and growth for the entire community. |

Arcanum The staff members here on Mythralis consist of the following roles: Magus (Art Moderators/ Helpers on Chat) Sage (Discord Moderators) Scout (Moderators in training) The Arcana (Chat Moderators) Russet (Gamma) Sylvan (Beta) Laurel (Alpha) Members on the Magus team are regular members of our community who review and accept your uploaded rooms and poses. They do not have access to any personal information connected to your account(s). Magus members are able to answer any and all questions or concerns surrounding the use of art around the site. These members solely review poses/rooms, create fun art related events, and curate fun art workshops! Should an issue arise that would constitute a respite, which needs access to private information, they will hand off the report to an available member within the Orders. Members on the Sage team help monitor and run the discord server. They work in tandem with all other teams in regards to nudges, respites/kicks from the server, and any events that we have going on. They do not have access to view private account information on chat. They solely help our Discord server run smoothly and efficiently. Should you have any issues or concerns regarding the Discord server, these members are the ones you’d seek out via the #speak-with-a-sage channel. Scouts are members who are undergoing training and testing in which they will need to pass in order to join the Russet Order. While going through training, Scouts should not be handling live reports at all. Please do not reach out to these members with any reports and/or issues. They are expected to pass all tests, become familiar with all Art Guidelines and General Rules, as well as connect with our Community members so that they are able to represent and understand your needs as a community fully. The Arcana consists of three tiers dependent on drive, efficiency, and overall experience. The following is a break down of each tier: ₊⊹ Russet Order ₊⊹ These moderators are fresh out of testing and have passed the requirements expected of them. Typically they hold little to no prior mod experience, with some exceptions. This tier is where these members will gain their knowledge and experience before moving up to the next tier level if they choose. Russets are able to issue nudges and lower tier respites, write up nudge/ respite reports, and contribute to sensitive discussions surrounding nudges and respites. Russet Order members should focus on becoming familiar with using the forum and chat before joining additional teams. Should a Russet be deemed ready for a promotion, they will be offered a test in which they will need to pass before being granted a higher tier rank. They will have 2 attempts before waiting a certain period before they are allowed to retake the test. Should they fail a third time (not getting a 100%) then they will be reconsidered at a later date when another position becomes available. ₊⊹ Sylvan Order ₊⊹ These Moderators have not only demonstrated the drive and passion needed, but have an understanding of how to best serve our communities needs. Typically, these members will have extensive prior mod experience and hold a considerable amount of knowledge on what it means to be a manager and a leader. They are in tune with the community and are fairly active within it. Sylvans are able to issue nudges and mid level respites. They must be able to complete reports correctly and efficiently, as well as aid our Russets in full completion of theirs. Sylvans are our main Trainers. They are able to aid in helping on one or both Magus and Sage Teams. Should a Sylvan be deemed ready for the next Mod tier, though typically only sought for if a spot becomes available, then they will be offered a test in which they will need to pass at 100% the first time before being granted a higher tier. If the Sylvan testing happens to fail, then they will not be considered and will only be offered the next tier should another position become available at a later date. ₊⊹ Laurel Order ₊⊹ These Moderators have the most experience when it comes to managing a team and leading the community. They are the highest tier of responsibility and strive to make sure that the site capability and its principles work well for everyone. They handle all levels of nudges and respites for members as well as the rest of the Orders and teams. They have the ability and knowledge to aid in forum, chat, and discord fixes/bugs. Laurels may specialize in certain teams, though it is more common for them to have knowledge and be available to assist within them all. This position is not easily attainable and should only hold those who have the most knowledge. |

Nudge - A ‘nudge’ is what we refer to as a reminder/warning here on Mythralis. In most, less severe cases, you will receive two nudges before your account(s) face any bans. The only time you will see nudges being skipped are if a situation is deemed serious enough. This could be anywhere from different forms of harassment, trolling, and any kind of safety threats whether that is against the site or another member. Respite Ordering - A Respite Ordering is what we use when someone violates our principles. You will always be able to have conversations with our Moderators in regards to receiving any nudges and/ or respites. Our main goals are to protect the site and help you understand why certain actions and behaviors end with the result that they do. For less serious violations such as; being reminded about chat etiquette, bringing attention to any inappropriate profile content, un-intentional false reports, lower level harassment, and drug/paraphernalia etiquette, the following Ordering is what the Moderators will go by - 1st nudge → 2nd nudge → 12 respite → 3 day respite → 1 month respite → permanent respite from Mythralis *3 month breather- This means that you must not violate any more principles within 90 days from the issued date in order to refrain from moving up to the next tier within your own Ordering. Once the 90 days has been reached, you will restart the Ordering at a 1st nudge. For more serious situations involving the following but not limited to; higher level harassment, all safety threats, harmful off site content, and trolling, will automatically skip all Ordering tiers and result in a permanent respite from Mythralis with the potential to be upped to Chatlands wide. The Art Theft Ordering is slightly different and goes as follows: 1st Nudge with a meeting → 3 day respite → 1 week respite → 1 month respite → permanent respite from Mythralis *The Art Theft Orderings do not have a refresh time frame. Once you start the Art Theft Ordering, you will continue moving up the respite ordering regardless of how long it’s been since the last issued date. Please keep in mind that Magus members are not able to issue respites. Respites are only eligible to be placed by Order members. The meeting that will be held when your first nudge is given, will be one to go over ways to help you improve and consider better alternatives, as well as answer any questions that you may have so that you do not end up progressing further along your ordering. Arcanum v Arcana Mythraliss Arcanum is what we refer to all teams collectively, rather than listing out each individually; Chat Mods, Art Mods, Discord Mods, Training Mods. The Arcana specifically refers to the Chat Mods: Scout, Russet, Sylvan, Laurel. |

 Magus (Art Moderators/Helpers)
See something that is/could be traced and have the image it was copied from? Someone added to your art blacklist and would like other eyes on that? Anything art related should be reported to someone on the Magus team. Please note: should any nudges and/ or respites that are needed for a situation, a Magus member will pass on the report to an Order member. Sage (Discord Moderators) Need help with something on the Discord server? Have any suggestions? Is there an issue within the server? The Sage team would be the members to go to! Scout (Moderators in training) Please do not contact a Scout for any reports or inquiries. Light and easy questions are alright, but we like to have them focused on learning policies and procedures on how to handle situations before joining the Orders. The Arcana (Chat Moderators) These are your chat moderators. If you have an issue that cannot be resolved, need to report someone, or have found a bug, you should contact one of these members  Russet (Gamma)

Blocklist & DNI's (back to top | ||||||

Mythralis understands the importance of individuality and differences in finding enjoyment through diverse conversation topics. To help keep our community enjoyable and safe, you may link your own Art Access Blocklist (blacklist alternative) and DNI topics within your profile. Keep in mind it is your responsibility to alert our Magus members to any art restrictions you have placed on specific users. We will keep a separate, private list that will be updated as we are, so that other Magus members can know as needed. Art Access Blocklists (AAB), or Blocklist for short, is not something that our Moderators will intervene with. They are for our members to choose who they conduct their own business with. DNI's are allowed. It is your responsibility to ensure that you are looking out for yourself. Not all members will view profiles before talking about certain topics. If a trigger topic or event happens, we ask that you kindly request a subject change or change locations. If the room decides to continue and it is within Mythralis Principles, we ask that in this instance, you relocate to another room to hang out. Please note that anyone purposefully instigating you with one of your DNI listed topics should be reported immediately for an Arcana member to address. We take safety here very seriously. |

You may request to meet with a Laurel member one on one to talk and discuss any feedback that you may have for the site. We will try our best to implement what we can. If you’d rather remain anonymous, we have several forms in which you may visit below. Only Laurels have access to these & check them every (pick a day of the week). Mythralis complies with artists who do not wish to have their artwork used on Chatlands or on our site. The Magus team and The Arcana have this private list with reasonings should someone happen to upload one of the listed artists’ work. If you are an artist and would like to be added to this list, please either fill out a Chat PT or contact a Laurel to update. |
