Mythralis is a place where you may come to relax and enjoy a quiet space here on Chatlands. In order to keep our calm and enjoyable atmosphere, we ask that all members communicate considerately and respectfully with each other. To ensure that we all share the same experience, Mythralis has a set of principles that we ask you to keep in mind while visiting with us. Should you have a problem with another member which cannot be resolved amongst yourselves, we ask that you reach out to one of our appointed Arcanum members for aid.

Please take care in reading the below principles completely and in their entirety before choosing to visit our site. It is your responsibility to read thoroughly as claiming to not have read these will not excuse any principle breaks. Should you fail to follow the principles outlined below, your account will be subject to a nudge or considered for a respite.

Here on Mythralis, we go by a two ‘nudge’ policy before considering your account for the lowest level respite. This means that you will receive a kind ‘nudge’ as a reminder of the principles that you agreed to upon logging into the site, then you will receive a second and final ‘nudge’ before being given a respite from Mythralis.

For minor principle breaks, you will start your ordering at a 12 hour respite. Please see our FAQ for a complete list of what we consider ‘Minor Principle Breaks’.

It is important to keep in mind that Mythralis operates under United States laws when topics of drugs and alcohol, whether deemed legal or not, should come up.

 II. AGE REQUIREMENT

Mythralis is for members aged 18 and older. If you are below the minimum age, your account will be given a respite, regardless of parental consent. Members may return after turning 18 by submitting a Problem Ticket to appeal their respite. This respite will not be held against you upon your return should any future principle breaks occur.

When registering for Mythralis, it is important to provide your actual date of birth. Falsifying your age to be more or less than your genuine age (also known as “age boosting”), if you refuse to adjust your DOB appropriately, or are found ban-dodging, will lead to a respite.

We ask that our members help us keep minors safe by reporting a member that has stated that they are below the required age.

Help Others! You may have more experience on Chatlands than someone else. Give them a hand and show them that it’s not so hard. They’re really going to appreciate it!

Be Patient! Not only when it comes to our Arcanum members, but to your fellow Withrilian as well.

Respect Diversity! It’s an ethnically rich and diverse, multicultural world in which we live. Use no language that is or that could be construed to be offensive toward others. Racist, sexist, heterosexist comments and jokes are unacceptable, as are derogatory and/or sarcastic comments and jokes directed at religious beliefs, disabilities, and age. Using such language will result in either a nudge or a respite.

Refrain from Flaming! Criticism must be constructive, well-meaning, and well-articulated. Rants directed at any other Withrilian are unacceptable and will not be tolerated. While we understand that not everyone will get along all of the time, we do expect our members to settle differences amongst themselves or seek out an Inner Arcana Mod for help. Failure to help keep our calm and welcoming atmosphere will result in starting your respite ordering.

Remember: You Can’t ‘unring the bell’. Language is your only tool in an online environment. Be mindful of how you word your messages. How others perceive you will be largely, as always, up to you. Once you’ve hit the send button, you’ve ‘rung the bell’.

While we are a Mature rated site, we do not allow all Mature related topics. If it is deemed that you are partaking in any of the outlined themes below, you will be given a respite from Mythralis without warning. Please see below:

Pornographic videos, artwork, literature, images or themes.
Linking to shock sites or pornographic content will result in a Permanent Ban across Chatlands without warning.
Non-consensual themes and sexual assault themes in writing, artwork, as well as discussions.
Promoting, describing, and sharing videos/images of self harm and eating disorders.
Encouraging / Promoting for other users to do drugs and alcohol.
NSFW real life selfies, videos or other media.
Videos containing other explicit content such as: abuse, animal cruelty, gore, and/ or violence.
Pirated or otherwise illegal software or websites that may harm the viewer's computer.
Child abuse, Pedophilia descriptions and themes in writing, artwork and discussions as well as any explicit online content containing child abuse and Pedophilia.
Describing and discussions of incest.
Graphic descriptions, depictions of death and dead bodies.
Discussion, depictions, encouragement, promoting, referencing, artwork, and writings of suicide.
Themes, depictions, and discussions of any illegal act, including but not limited too Zoophilia.

b.) Private Rooms

All room rules and D&D sessions must comply with Mythralis's Principles. The Inner Arcana members will only intervene and mediate within a private room in cases of ANY safety threats, Principle Violations, or at the room owner's request. It is important to note that a log check by the Laurels may only be carried out should a serious safety concern be reported. Mythralis defines serious safety concerns, in this context, as any of the listed scenarios above and/ or prohibited content being shared. Please note that it is unacceptable to enter or use someone else's private room without their knowledge or consent. Should a room owner contact an Inner Arcana member and request your removal, it will result in a second nudge being recorded for you. We encourage room owners to report any incidents directly to an Inner Arcana Mod for proper handling.

c.) Controlled and Illegal Substances
Mythralis operates under Wunderwood LLC, a US-based company. In accordance, our regulation on substances is in tandem with US federal law. Discussion of controlled or illegal substances (such as prescription medications and illegal drugs) is allowed when done in an educational (e.g. medical explanation or otherwise constructive) manner.

Members under the age of 21 are not allowed to discuss the personal usage of alcohol or drugs, including announcing that they are under the influence of said substances.

Pressuring others to try substances or glorifying their use is not allowed.

✅ Acceptable: "I'm gonna go smoke a bowl/blunt/cigarette, brb" or "Oh, I smoke sometimes to help me calm down."

❌ Unacceptable: "Oh man, you should try getting high or drunk. It's absolutely amazing." or "You should try this strain, it's really good and will get you super high."

d.) Profile Content
Any principle violations that take place within your chat profile (sniff) will result in a nudge to remove the outlined inappropriate content within 24 hours. Should you fail to do so, an Arcana member will remove it for you and notify you of what was taken out.

Should a username violate the principles, a nudge to change your username will be sent to you. If you do not change it by the time of your next login, you will receive a 12-hour respite. Once your respite has ended, you will be expected to change your username to prevent further progressions through the Respite Ordering.

Please refrain from choosing a username with any related theme to the following: drug, drug paraphernalia, slurs, or culturally insensitive items. Should it be found that you have chosen something within any of the categories listed, you will be promptly asked to change it by your next login and will follow the above protocol for inappropriate profile content.

e.) Harassing other members
Harassment of any kind is strictly prohibited. This includes but is not limited to:

Targeted insults, slurs, or name-calling based on race, ethnicity, nationality, gender, sexual orientation, disability, religion, age, or appearance.
Unwanted sexual attention, comments, advances, or sharing of explicit content.
Going around an ignore feature to contact an individual, or ignore their attempts to stop contact.
Threats, intimidation, stalking, or doxxing (sharing private information without consent).
Bullying through repeated aggressive behavior, including manipulation, exclusion, or public shaming.
Begging and solicitation is not permitted, this includes asking for money, deltas, or other items. You may post fundraisers in your away, but not continuously post them in the chat. Please use caution when doing so.
Harassment of any form off-site toward a member of Mythralis can result in action being taken against your account, depending on the severity.

All art uploaded and linked on Mythralis and its platforms should be tasteful and follow all principles. Since we are a Mature rated site, with some exceptions which are laid out below, we ask that you keep these in mind when uploading your poses and rooms. Below you may find some topics that we ask not be brought onto the site for the safety and concern of those with any of these triggers.

Protect your account(s) by keeping your emails and passwords confidential. If another person accesses your account and receives a nudge and/or respite, it will remain your account and will not be eligible for removal off of your record. We encourage you to take extra precautions, like setting a difficult password and using our !lock command.*

*Typing "!lock" in the chat box prompts the site to lock the chat tab. This requires you to enter your password to unlock and interact on chat again, making it a useful protection tool when stepping away from your computer.

Sharing shock sites, pornography, pirated software, or other potentially harmful websites, including those that could trigger epilepsy, will result in an immediate and permanent ban from all of Chatlands. Site safety goes beyond the technical aspects. Mythraliss' Arcanum does their best to keep predator's and harmful people away from our community. Should there be anyone showing these signs, we ask that you report them to an Arcana member as soon as possible.

We also would like to ensure that our members are taking care of themselves. Should you need to speak to someone, we have available resources to share with you.
